Jose Araoz

Jose Araoz is a seasoned cybersecurity analyst with extensive experience in both public and military sectors. Currently employed at the Texas Attorney General's Office since August 2021, Jose performs senior-level cybersecurity analysis and oversees security measures for information systems within the Enterprise Information Security Division. Prior to this role, Jose spent over two decades in the US Army, ascending through various positions, including Company Commander and Plans & Operations Officer, where responsibilities included logistics coordination for large-scale military operations and management of personnel across multiple locations. Jose holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Colorado Technical University and an Associate of Science degree in Information Technology from Savannah Technical College.
