Megan Montgomery

Megan Montgomery, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Megan is currently the Director of Communications at the Texas Attorney General, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Group Fitness Instructor at Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe from December 2023. Megan also held a similar role at the YMCA of Austin since March 2017.

Before transitioning to the fitness industry, Megan worked as a Fitness Instructor under their own business name since September 2012. Megan gained experience in the insurance sector as an Account Representative Coordinator II at TMA Insurance Trust from February 2019 to February 2023, a Marketing Assistant from May 2017 to January 2019, an Administrative & Social Media Specialist from April 2014 to May 2017, and an Administrative Clerk from August 2009 to March 2014.

Prior to their career in the insurance industry, Megan had experience in the entertainment field. Megan served as a Costume Designer at St. Michael's Catholic Academy from September 2007 to May 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Stage Manager at St. Edward's University from August 2007 to May 2009 and as a Follow Spot Operator & Deck Crew at ZACH Theatre from May 2007 to August 2008. Megan started their professional journey as a House Manager at the University of Dallas from August 2005 to May 2006.

Megan Montgomery, MBA, received their Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Digital Management from St. Edward's University in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in General Theater Studies from the same institution in 2009. Megan also attended The University of Dallas from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Drama with a focus on Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies. Megan has also obtained additional certifications, including a Personal Trainer Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in January 2024, and a Primary Group Fitness Instructor certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in April 2013.
