Texas Attorney General
Nicole Loya is an experienced attorney with a strong background in appellate litigation and corporate defense. Currently serving as an Appellate Attorney at the Texas Attorney General since May 2014, Loya has handled dockets with up to 62 cases daily, managing bench trials and negotiating orders. Previously, at Rincon Law Group, P.C. from August 2012 to May 2014, Loya managed complex corporate litigation defense cases for high-profile clients, executing depositions, mediations, and preparing legal documents. Loya's earlier experience includes serving as a Family Law Fellow at Volunteer Legal Services, processing numerous divorce cases, and as a Summer Associate at Modrall Sperling, contributing to significant litigation efforts. Loya earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brown University.
