Zulay Sanchez

Zulay Sanchez has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as the Financial Manager for the Texas Attorney General since 2007. Prior experience includes a managerial role overseeing prepaid and 529 education plans for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts from 1997 to 2007, where responsibilities included managing operations and financial aspects of a $2 billion asset investment. Zulay Sanchez also contributed to the implementation of PeopleSoft for state agencies as a subject matter expert. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Administration from St. Edward's University and participation in the Governor's Executive Development Program at The LBJ School of Public Affairs.
