Michael Boelkens

Michael Boelkens is an experienced education and prevention specialist with a strong background in teaching and coaching. Currently serving as the Education Coordinator at Connections Wellness Group since August 2022, Michael has also held the role of Prevention Specialist at Recovery Resource Council from December 2021 to July 2022. Prior to these positions, Michael worked as an ADA Assessor and Data Processor at Gram Traffic NTX, Inc. and as an Independent Marketing and Sales Representative at Equis Financial. Michael's teaching career includes roles as a World Geography Teacher and Head Girls Basketball Coach at Venus High School, as well as an English Teacher and coach for basketball and track at Burleson High School. Additionally, Michael served as an English Teacher and Head Boys Basketball Coach at The Oakridge School for a decade. Michael Boelkens holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Central College, completed in 1990.
