Carling Butler

Physical Therapist at Texas Ballet Theater

Carling Butler, PT, DPT, MSCI, serves as an Assistant Professor and Core Faculty member at South College, contributing to the first two-year hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program in the U.S. Carling possesses extensive clinical experience as a Physical Therapist at UT Southwestern Medical Center, delivering acute and critical care, and providing contracted physical therapy services to the Texas Ballet Theater. Previous academic roles include Assistant Professor at the UNT Health Science Center, where Carling directed multiple courses, and Associated Faculty at Baylor University in their accelerated DPT program. Additional experience includes working at 3DPT, a private practice specializing in neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Carling holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
