Kirk Baur has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kirk began their career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a non-commissioned officer from 1986 to 1993. Following their military service, they joined Texas Commerce Bank as an officer, where they worked as a financial services representative, focusing on consumer lending. In 1996, they moved on to John Deere Credit as an area sales manager, responsible for managing a four-state Southwest Territory and marketing financial products. Kirk later transferred to the Florida Territory to revitalize dropping sales numbers. In 2001, Baur joined JP Morgan Chase as a vice president and branch manager, successfully growing the branch to become the sixth best-performing branch in a 35-branch DFW network. Kirk then moved on to Regions Bank, where they served as a vice president and private bank/branch manager, overseeing the start-up of the private bank in Dallas and managing high net worth clients. Baur’s next role was at Amegy Bank, where they worked as a senior vice president. Kirk joined IBERIABANK in 2015, initially serving as a senior vice president and later as an SVP/business banking market manager and commercial banker. Currently, they are working at Texas Bank and Trust as an SVP commercial lending. In each role, Baur has demonstrated their ability to build strong client relationships and drive performance.

Kirk Baur's education history began in 1987 when they attended Stephen F. Austin State University, where they studied Communications. Kirk completed their studies at Stephen F. Austin State University in 1988. Following this, Kirk pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts at Texas A&M University, where they attended from 1988 to 1992.
