Olivia Solis

Olivia Solis is currently the VP-Marketing & Communications at Texas Bankers Association since May 1999. Prior to this, Olivia worked as the Communications Director at Texas Restaurant Association from May 1997 to May 1999. Before that, Olivia held the position of Director of Public Communications at Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse from August 1992 to March 1997. Olivia also worked as a Freelance Writer and Special Sections Coordinator at The Houston Chronicle. Olivia started their career as a City Hall Reporter at Valley Morning Star. Olivia holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Houston, a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin, and an Associate's Degree in Journalism from Texas Southmost College.
