Christopher Aspaas

Christopher Aspaas is an accomplished choral director and composer with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Director of Choral Activities and Chair of the Choral Division at Texas Christian University since August 2015, Christopher also founded Aspen Hill Music in May 2013. Prior experience includes a tenure as Associate Professor of Vocal/Choral Music at St. Olaf College from September 2005 to August 2015 and Director of Choral Activities at Central Washington University for a year. Christopher Aspaas holds a Ph.D. in Choral Music Education from Florida State University, a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from St. Olaf College.
