Emmanuel Garcia

Emmanuel Garcia, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in higher education with extensive experience in career advising and academic support. Currently serving as a Career Consultant at Texas Christian University since October 2021, Emmanuel leads initiatives for nearly 2,600 College of Liberal Arts students, offering services including resume reviews and mock interviews, while also significantly increasing event attendance, such as the Career Expo. Prior roles include advising graduate and undergraduate students at The University of Texas at Arlington, where Emmanuel co-founded the Council for Excellence in Graduate Advising and created the University College Scholars Program. Emmanuel's academic teaching experience spans multiple institutions, covering various Spanish courses. Emmanuel holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from The University of Texas at Arlington, as well as degrees in Modern Languages and Criminal Justice.
