Heather Garcia

Heather Garcia, M.Ed., currently serves as the Campus Coordinator for Texas Christian University, where efforts focus on supporting low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students in achieving their postsecondary goals. Previously, Heather held the position of 9th Grade ELA Instructor and Level Lead at Keller ISD, leading professional learning communities and enhancing curriculum development for educators. With additional experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant at the SPCA of Texas and various teaching roles in Lewisville ISD, Heather has demonstrated a strong commitment to education, community engagement, and student advocacy. Heather holds two Master's degrees in Educational Leadership and Administration and Secondary Education, as well as a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of North Texas.
