Lauren Kelly

Lauren Kelly, PhD, is a faculty member at the University of North Texas since August 2017, specializing in child development and family studies, with experience in creating undergraduate and facilitating online courses for the Master's program. Lauren serves as an advocate for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children and holds a part-time teaching position at Texas Christian University. Additionally, Lauren has worked as a Clinical Placement Specialist in Treatment Foster Care with La Familia Namaste since May 2016 and was previously a faculty member at Texas Tech University, where courses included families in crisis and lifespan development. Early career experiences include training as a Special Agent at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and serving as a Teaching Assistant for Chancellor Hance's seminar class.
