Valerie Desantis

Valerie DeSantis, M.Ed., serves as the Assistant Dean for Development at Texas Christian University’s College of Science & Engineering, where, as of June 2023, a comprehensive campaign has raised over $65 million. Valerie's expertise includes identifying and soliciting major donors, securing substantial endowment gifts, and managing high-profile executive leadership boards. Previous roles at United Way include Vice President of Major Gifts and Resource Development, where Valerie led a $26 million annual campaign and established a mega-giving program, resulting in a significant increase in contributions. With an extensive background in resource development and corporate relations, Valerie holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
