Alicia Jordal has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Communications, Human Relations, and Marketing from Western Illinois University. Alicia later pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching from Aurora University. Alicia has held various roles in education and technology, including being a Teacher, Educational Technologist, and Webmaster at Crosby ISD. Alicia worked as an At Risk Interventionist at Goose Creek CISD before transitioning to their current role as a Technology Implementation Coordinator and District Educational Technologist at Texas City ISD. Prior to their education career, Alicia also served as an Executive at Target.

Texas City ISD has 14 schools and approximately 7,800 students in 78.31 square miles of La Marque and Texas City.
