Jess Colwell

Jess Colwell has a distinguished career in law enforcement with the Texas City Police Department, serving in various capacities since 1989. Currently holding the position of Assistant Chief of Police after retirement, Jess has also held titles of Captain and Lieutenant within the department. Responsibilities have included roles in Code Enforcement, Animal Control, Communications, Community Services, and Grants, reflecting a diverse skill set and commitment to community safety. Jess earned a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Mountain State University between 2010 and 2012.
