James K. Davis

Founder at Texas Corporate Capital Advisors

Mr. Davis has been involved in investment banking for almost 35 years. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Texas Corporate Capital Advisors. Mr. Davis’ responsibilities include representing companies in merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions involving subsidiaries or other companies and aiding companies in raising public or private institutional capital for expansion purposes. Mr. Davis is a Series 7, 24, 27 and 63 FINRA registered securities representative. Prior to founding Texas Corporate Capital Advisors, Mr. Davis held officer positions at Houlihan Lokey Howard and Zukin (Director, Corporate Finance), Ernst & Young LLP (Partner, Corporate Finance), NationsBanc Capital Markets, Inc. (Director, Mergers and Acquisitions) and CS First Boston (Vice President, Investment Banking) in Dallas and Dillon, Read & Co. Inc. (Associate/Vice President, Corporate Finance) in New York City. Mr. Davis received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. In addition to his involvement with TXCCA, Mr. Davis served on the Board of Directors of Cornerstone Automation Systems, Inc. and on the Board of The Family Place, a nonprofit dedicated to helping victims of family violence.
