Barbra Grimmer

Barbra Grimmer is a seasoned professional in child welfare and advocacy, currently serving as the Public Policy Coordinator focused on Child Welfare and Custody at the Texas Council on Family Violence since September 2018. Previously, Barbra held roles such as Home Assessment Specialist at CK Family Services and Team Leader/Advocacy Coordinator/Grants Reporter at Child Advocates, where leadership and advocacy skills were honed. Barbra's earlier experience includes serving as a Conservatorship Specialist/Legal Liaison with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, ensuring the well-being of children in substitute care. Barbra holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Texas A&M University, earned between 2001 and 2005.
