Texas Council on Family Violence
Ryan Thomas currently serves as the Grants and Systems Integration Manager at the Texas Council on Family Violence since February 2023, where responsibilities include researching grant sources, writing proposals, and managing the grant submission process. Prior experience includes serving as the Community Education Program Manager at Hope's Door New Beginning Center from September 2016 to December 2022, focusing on domestic abuse education and community awareness. Ryan also held management and training roles at Domino's from March 2014 to June 2016, and as a Teacher and Curriculum Developer at Plano ISD from August 2004 to December 2013. Early in the career, Ryan contributed as a Manager, Trainer, Curriculum Developer, and Instructor at NCB English Language Institute in Japan. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Texas A&M University, obtained in December 1997.

The Texas Council on Family Violence is one of the largest domestic violence coalitions in the country. We promote safe and healthy relationships by supporting service providers, facilitating strategic prevention efforts, and creating opportunities for freedom from family violence. TCFV is a membership organization and includes survivors, family violence service providers, business professionals, communities of faith and concerned individuals.
