Philip Wright

Philip Wright has extensive experience in agricultural and consumer protection, currently serving as the Administrator for Agriculture and Consumer Protection at the Texas Department of Agriculture since February 2008. Wright has held multiple titles in this role, including Director for Consumer Product Protection and Consumer Product Protection Compliance Specialist, where responsibilities include developing calibration systems and evaluating measurement reliability in the Consumer Protection Division. Prior to this, Wright worked as an Independent Contractor Trainer and served as the County Program Director/Associate Professor at New Mexico State University. Wright holds a Master of Arts in Agricultural and Extension Education Services and a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, both from New Mexico State University.
