Troy Lee Warden has a diverse range of work experience. Troy Lee began their career in 2001 as a Program Administrator for Crime Victim Services at the Texas Office of the Attorney General. In this role, they oversaw administrative appeals, drafted correspondence, and acted as a liaison with other agencies.

In 2013, Warden joined the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality as a Natural Resources Specialist for a short period of time.

The same year, they also joined the Texas Department of Agriculture, where they held several roles. Troy Lee started as a Certification and Compliance Specialist, responsible for ensuring the appropriate use of pesticides throughout the state. Troy Lee then became a Compliance Monitor, conducting compliance reviews of school districts using the National School Lunch Program. After that, they took on the role of a Senior Administrative Review Specialist, reviewing administrative reviews of contracting entities participating in child nutrition programs. Lastly, they served as the Assistant Director for School Operations, overseeing the management of the School Operations section and ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.

In 1998, Warden launched their own music and recording studio called Dima Records. Troy Lee provided musical arrangements for various musical styles and artists and was selected by the Austin Symphony Orchestra for a recording project.
