Prior roles include Facilities Manager and Assistant Facilities Manager at the Texas Department of Transportation, where responsibilities involved supervising technicians and contractors, budget management, and facility maintenance across multiple counties. Jon has a background in construction inspection and technical skills in automotive repair, complemented by an MPA in City/Urban Planning and a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Eastern Illinois University. Additionally, early career experiences include property management, equipment operation, and household repair, demonstrating a diverse skill set spanning various sectors.
