Autumn Carter

Autumn Carter, GISP, currently serves as the GIS Team Lead at the Texas Department of Transportation, where responsibilities include leading advanced GIS analysis for the Right of Way Division’s Survey Section and providing technical support for geospatial systems. Previous roles include positions at Cobb, Fendley & Associates, Inc. as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst, focusing on stormwater feature digitization and data analysis, and a Data Utilization and GIS Specialist. Autumn also worked as a DATAMARK GIS Technician at Michael Baker International, addressing GIS discrepancies with state 911 authorities, and as an Environmental & GIS Specialist at CK Associates Environmental Consultants, developing a Wildfire Response GIS Dashboard and responding to oil spill incidents. Prior military experience includes serving in the United States Air Force in various public health roles, emphasizing deployment health operations and occupational health programs. Autumn holds a Master of Geoscience in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Arizona State University.
