Karen Lorenzini

Karen Lorenzini has over 20 years of experience in planning and engineering, with roles that include Senior Strategist at DOTomation Consulting, Mobility35/I-35 Program Manager at the Texas Department of Transportation, and various positions at organizations like the Texas Transportation Institute and Wilbur Smith Associates. Their work involves overseeing projects, managing teams, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to advance safety and mobility goals in the transportation sector.

Karen Lorenzini earned a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors and Latin American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin in 1993. Karen then went on to complete a Master of Science in Community and Regional Planning from the same institution in 1995. Later, Karen received another Master of Science, this time in Engineering, from The University of Texas at Austin in 2002. In September 2003, they obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
