Krista Moreira

Krista Moreira, P.E., M. Eng. is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Procurement Engineer at the Texas Department of Transportation since January 2020, where leadership of expert teams focuses on selecting qualified consultants for various engineering, architecture, and survey services. Previously, Krista held the position of Transportation Engineer, developing PS&E for traffic and drainage projects, and managing consultant contracts for significant infrastructure projects. From February 2014 to January 2020, Krista was a Process and Product Engineer at Howmet Aerospace, where the development of processes and tooling for investment casting production was a key responsibility. Krista holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering for Transportation Professionals from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Midwestern State University.
