Michael A. Haithcock

Michael A. Haithcock, P.E. has extensive experience in transportation planning and development, currently serving as the Director of TP&D at the Texas Department of Transportation since December 2014, where responsibilities include managing Preconstruction, Plan Development, and Project Management for the Abilene District. Prior to this role, Michael worked at the Georgia Department of Transportation from February 1983 to November 2014, focusing on Road Design, Consultant Design, and District Preconstruction. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University and two Bachelor's Degrees in Engineering—one in Civil Engineering Technology and another in Architectural Engineering Technology—both from Kennesaw State University.
