Ray Pedraza

Ray Pedraza is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and media. Currently serving as Public Information Officer IV for the Texas Department of Transportation, Pedraza acts as the spokesperson for the TxDOT Pharr District, engaging with the media and the public on complex issues. Previous roles include Interim Director of Public Relations and Marketing and Assistant Director at South Texas College, where strategy development and execution were key responsibilities. Pedraza has also contributed as a Producer/Reporter/Public Information Officer for the City of McAllen, a Reporter/Anchor for KGBT TV 4 CBS, Program Director at Univision Radio, and Promotions/Marketing Director at Sunburst Media. Pedraza holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Communications with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from the University of Texas Pan American.
