Tahmina Khan

Tahmina Khan, Ph.D., PE, is an experienced transportation engineer currently employed at the Texas Department of Transportation since September 2020, where expertise has been applied to significant projects, including the $85M SH 205 and $31M US 75 initiatives. Previous roles include positions at Prosser, Inc., and Daniel Consultants, Inc., focusing on traffic studies and project engineering. In addition to a strong background in project management and design, Khan has held various academic roles, teaching engineering disciplines at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and serving as a research assistant at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. With a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, a Master’s degree in the same field, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Khan combines technical expertise with teaching experience in the engineering domain.
