Lucilla Henderson has a diverse work experience in marketing and business engagement. Lucilla started their career in 1985 as a Mall Marketing Manager at Herring Group and later worked as a Certified Marketing Director at Herring Marathon. In these roles, they led successful renovation projects and developed retail strategies. From 1990 to 2008, Lucilla worked as a Certified Shopping Center Manager for various REITs and Developers. Since 2008, they have been associated with TDECU, initially serving as Vice President of Marketing and currently holding the position of VP Community and Business Engagement.
Lucilla Henderson attended Brazosport College from 1978 to 1980, where they studied general subjects. Lucilla then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing at Texas State University from 1980 to 1982.

Founded in 1955, TDECU formed when a group of Dow employees pitched in $5 each to loan a friend $35 to buy a refrigerator. That initial mission of people helping people continues today.
