Emperatriz Garza

Emperatriz Garza is an experienced engineer with a background in civil engineering, currently serving as an Engineer II Pipeline Systems at Texas Gas Service since August 2018, after starting there as an Engineer I. Prior experience includes roles as a Drafting Supervisor and CAD Operator at the Port of Brownsville, where responsibilities involved preparing construction plans, drafting legal descriptions, and coordinating updates for record drawings. Emperatriz also worked as a Civil Engineering Technician at Plagar Engineering, focusing on plans for commercial and infrastructure projects, and served as an engineering intern, creating maps and coordinating with staff on water infrastructure. Emperatriz holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and has completed studies at The University of Texas-Pan American and Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
