Sterlin Shaffer

Sterlin Shaffer is an experienced Geographic Information System Senior Specialist currently working at Texas Gas Service since August 2018, where prior roles included Geographic Information System Specialist. Previously, Sterlin served as a Photographer at Texas A&M University from July 2016 to July 2018, responsible for photographing and editing content for multiple student committees, along with project management tasks for the Marketing and Communications department. In addition, Sterlin worked as a Research Assistant, utilizing an Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler and survey-grade GPS to map the bathymetry of a Texas river, contributing to knowledge in Hydrology, Geomorphology, and GIS processes, which culminated in a presentation at the AAG annual conference in April 2018. Sterlin earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from Texas A&M University between 2014 and 2018.
