Marcos Basso

Marcos Basso has been a Partner at Baker McKenzie since October 1994, specializing in cross-border corporate and business transactions. In addition to this extensive legal experience, Marcos holds several advisory and leadership positions, including membership with the Circulo Internacional at MALBA since October 2023, serving as Chapter Board Director for the Texas General Counsel Forum since 2021, and being an Advisory Board Member for the Institute for Energy Law since June 2021. Further contributions include Advisory Membership on the Surgical Innovation Task Force at Houston Methodist, involvement with the Latin American Art Sub-Committee at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston since March 2017, and advisory roles at the Houston Methodist Institute for Technology, Innovation and Education (MITIE) since March 2018, which focuses on advancements in medical technology.
