Daniel Drumm

Daniel Drumm serves as the Information Security Officer for the State of Texas since February 2024, overseeing the security plan and incident response and managing interactions related to cybersecurity and cloud architecture. Previously, from January 2018 to January 2024, Daniel was the Head of Technology at Kabouter Management, LLC, where significant migrations to AWS and Azure occurred. Daniel held the role of IT Operations Manager and ISO at Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc. from May 2007 to December 2017, leading IT operations and infrastructure strategy. Earlier in the career, Daniel worked at the University of Michigan focusing on information security, and held positions at Ball Corporation, Cisco, Frontier Communications, and RUSH University Medical Center, consistently contributing to networking strategies and security implementations. Daniel Drumm holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
