Ravi Patel

Ravi Patel is a skilled software engineer with a focus on high-speed automated transportation systems and robotics. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Texas Guadaloop, Ravi is involved in developing a C++ software system for reliable data transfer and has expertise in programming microcontrollers and designing graphical user interfaces using JavaScript and the React library. As a Research Assistant at the Human Enabled Robotic Technology Lab, Ravi works on programming an autonomous surgical robot and training a robotic arm using advanced algorithms in Python and C++. Previous experience includes a software internship at LPL Financial, where Ravi improved code quality and participated in agile development, as well as a role as a Computer Vision Engineer at Texas Aerial Robotics, contributing to autonomous drone technology for search and rescue missions. Ravi Patel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in May 2025.
