Christopher Hamilton

Christopher Hamilton is currently the CEO of Texas Health Action, a healthcare organization that focuses on sexual wellness. Christopher has held this position since March 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Seton Healthcare Family from 2009 to 2018, where they held various roles including Director of the Oncology Service Line and Program Manager. At Seton Healthcare Family, they provided leadership to staff in cancer survivorship and oncology research departments, developed and implemented data and financial control systems, and created a cancer survivorship clinical program. Before that, from 2005 to 2009, they worked as a Health Planner at Brazos Valley Council of Governments, where they allocated funding and developed comprehensive services/strategic plans. In 2003, they worked as a Registration Representative at CHI St. Joseph Health, where they registered patients and assisted clinical staff. From 2001 to 2003, they were a Communications Specialist at Texas A&M Health Science Center, where they wrote press releases and managed the Office of Public Affairs website. Christopher started their career at Viatel Communications in 1998, where they held multiple roles including Operations Manager and Customer Service Team Lead. In these roles, they assisted in network design, developed call tracking applications, managed customer service representatives, and resolved customer problems.

Christopher Hamilton earned a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Christopher later pursued a Master's Degree in Health Policy and Management, specializing in Public Health, from the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Public Health. Christopher completed their Master's Degree program from 2003 to 2005.
