Ty Smith

Ty Smith has accumulated a diverse range of work experiences over the years. Starting in 2022, Ty worked as a Medical Assistant at Texas Health Action. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, Ty served as a Nurse Technician at Baylor Scott & White Health, where responsibilities included providing personal care, conducting vital sign screenings, and documenting patient conditions. From 2020 to 2022, Ty held the role of Director of Membership at University Ambassadors. Before that, from 2019 to 2022, Ty worked as a Direct Care Staff at Daybreak Community Services, Inc., supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Lastly, from 2021 to 2021, Ty gained experience as a Technical Support Representative at Apple.

Ty Smith attended Texas State University from 2017 to 2024, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Medical/Clinical Assistant. During their time at the university, they gained additional certifications such as Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) in June 2018, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association in January 2021.
