Kathi has held various leadership positions throughout their career. From 2007 to the present, Kathi has been the Director of Process Improvement at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery, overseeing quality, pharmacy, and the medical staff office. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they worked at Childrens Medical Center of Dallas as the Central Pharmacy Team Leader, where they managed the Investigational Drug Service, narcotic operations, non-sterile compounding laboratory, and education. Their earlier experience includes working as the Investigational Drug Service Coordinator at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center, where they developed and managed the Investigational Drug Service and was responsible for various research activities. Kathi's expertise also includes regulatory compliance, training, and committee involvement within the healthcare field.
Kathi Montefiore has a diverse education background in the healthcare industry. Kathi obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati in the period from 1986 to 1989. Additionally, they pursued their interest in healthcare management and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University between 2015 and 2017. In terms of additional certifications, Kathi attained the designation of Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP), although the details of where and when they obtained this certification are unknown. Furthermore, in the early years of their education, they studied Paper Science Engineering at Miami of Ohio from 1983 to 1985.
