Rene Banzuelo

Rene Banzuelo is a seasoned pharmacist with extensive experience in clinical pharmacy roles, currently serving as a Lead Pharmacist at Texas Health Resources since July 2017 and as a Clinical Pharmacist at Medical City Healthcare since February 2020. Prior experience includes a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Harris Health System and a pharmacist internship at Walgreens, where valuable skills in drug counseling, immunization administration, and prescription management were developed. In addition to pharmacy practice, Banzuelo contributed to the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) as a Region IV Facilitator, fostering connections among chapters and managing scholarship initiatives. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston, attained in 2016, alongside an earlier degree from the same institution in 2013.
