David Neiger is a seasoned financial executive currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for the Texas Hospital Association since February 2024, after a 17-year tenure as Chief Financial Officer at the Tennessee Hospital Association. Neiger's extensive experience encompasses strategic management of accounting and finance functions, oversight of financial systems, compliance with regulations, and risk management. Prior roles include Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Director of Accounts at the State of Tennessee, Bureau of TennCare, and Chief Financial Officer for the State of Tennessee, Bureau of Investigation. Neiger holds an M.B.A. from Tennessee State University and a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Middle Tennessee State University.
