Cristian Sanchez is a Supervising Attorney at RAICES since September 2017, where responsibilities include leading a team of legal advocates providing representation to immigrants facing removal proceedings and maintaining an active caseload. Additionally, as the NQRP Program Manager, Cristian oversees the administration of the National Qualified Representative Program, supporting legal representatives in cases of mentally incompetent immigrants. Prior roles include Staff Attorney and Coordinator for unaccompanied minor services, demonstrating extensive experience in immigration law. Cristian also served as an Equal Justice Works Fellow Attorney and held various legal internships focused on immigrant rights and workers' rights. Cristian holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law and has a background in political science from St. Edward's University.
