Christy R. is an experienced professional currently serving as the Information and Member Services Manager at the Texas Library Association, with a tenure beginning in February 2021. Christy has held various roles within the organization, advancing from Membership Coordinator to Membership Engagement Manager. Prior experience includes serving as Program Coordinator for Texas Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, where Christy helped organize conferences for over 24,000 members across Texas. Prior roles also include Production Lead at Austin Cake Ball, responsible for the production cycle and custom orders, and Security Officer for W3 Events Specialist, providing private event security. Christy began the career as a Server at The University of Texas Club. Educationally, Christy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained in 2015.
