Cynthia Rando, MS, MBA, CHFP, serves as the Director of the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics and is the Founder and CEO of Sophic Synergistics LLC, a consulting firm that emphasizes human-centered business solutions to enhance productivity and innovation. With extensive experience in human factors and ergonomics, Cynthia has held roles such as Human Factors and User Experience Advisor at TMC Innovation Institute, Vice President at the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics, and Program Director for the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society-Houston Chapter. Previous positions include leadership roles at NASA, where Cynthia managed strategic communications and the Human Systems Academy, and an adjunct professor position at the University of Houston Clear Lake. Cynthia holds an MBA in Business Innovation from Northeastern University and a Master's in Human Factors from Clemson University.
