J. Michael Bennett MD is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, currently serving as the Founder of DisruptRx and holding dual roles at the Southeast Texas Orthopedic Group and Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital - First Colony. With extensive experience as a medical advisor at the TMC Innovation Institute and co-founder of Lucent MD, J. Michael Bennett has significantly contributed to the field of orthopedic medicine. Previous positions include Executive Director of Physician Relations and Regional Medical Director at AngelMD, as well as chairman of the AAOS Orthopedic Innovation Assessment Work Group. J. Michael Bennett's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the UHZ Sports Medicine Institute, among other qualifications.
