Derek Casteel

Derek Casteel, CFA, currently serves as the Director of Investment Services at Wesleyan Impact Partners since April 2023 and has been with the Texas Methodist Foundation in the same role since July 2018, where responsibilities include creating presentation materials and engaging with investors. Additionally, Derek is the President and Founding Principal of Pomona Lane Partners Incorporated, focusing on strategic analysis for client organizations. Previous experience includes serving as Managing Director at Wespath Investment Management, where a new business unit was launched and assets under management grew by over $2 billion. Earlier roles include positions at Community Capital Management, Shay Assets Management, Stratford Advisory Group, and William R. Hough & Co, where expertise in institutional marketing and fixed income sales was developed. Derek holds a B.S. in Political Science from Florida State University.
