Tad Cleaves is an experienced legal professional, currently serving as Legal Counsel for the Texas Municipal League since March 2021. Previously, Tad was the City Attorney for the City of Liberty Hill from April 2020 to March 2021 and worked as an Associate Attorney at Bojorquez Law Firm, PC from May 2019 to April 2020, providing legal support to various City Councils and staff across Texas. Additional roles include Senior Attorney at SHEETS & CROSSFIELD, P.C., Assistant City Attorney for the City of Georgetown, and several Associate Attorney positions at Roberts & Roberts, LLP. Tad's career also includes experience as Coordinator of Minor Development at The Home Offices of Tad H. Cleaves and Sons. Tad holds multiple degrees, including a BA in Mathematics from Texas Tech University and a BA in History from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
