Tom Masthay

Tom Masthay, CFA, CAIA, FRM has a background in finance and has held various leadership roles in investment management. Tom is currently the Deputy CIO at Texas Municipal Retirement System, where Tom also serves as the Director of Private Equity and Real Assets. Prior to this, Tom worked at NextEra Energy, Inc. as a Principal Investment Analyst, and at Kentucky Retirement Systems in roles including Director of Real Assets. Tom began their career at Farmers Capital Bank Corporation as an Internal Auditor. Tom holds an MBA with a focus on Finance and a BBA in Finance/Economics from the University of Kentucky.
