Stephen Wager has a strong background in risk management and compliance in the banking industry. Stephen began their career at Citizens State Bank - Tyler Texas, where they served as an Assistant Vice President and Compliance Officer from January 2010 to May 2017. Stephen then moved up to the role of Vice President from May 2017 to September 2018, before ultimately being promoted to Senior Vice President & Chief Risk Officer from September 2018 to November 2019. Stephen then joined Spirit of Texas Bank as a Senior Vice President from November 2019 to November 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President - Chief Risk Officer | Chief Compliance Officer at Texas National Bank, starting in November 2020. Throughout their work experience, they have consistently demonstrated their expertise in risk management and compliance.

Stephen Wager, CRCM, completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Tyler Junior College from 2008 to 2010. Stephen then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Texas at Tyler, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, they obtained the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification from the Institute of Certified Bankers.
