Raphael Schiffmann

Raphael Schiffmann is a seasoned neurologist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and research. Currently serving as a neurologist at Texas Neurology since July 2021, Raphael also holds a dual role as a principal investigator at Baylor Scott & White Health since January 2008. Previously, Raphael was a scientific fellow and senior vice president at 4D Molecular Therapeutics, where responsibilities included heading the therapeutic area for lysosomal storage disorders and neuromuscular diseases from September 2020 to March 2023. Furthermore, Raphael directed the Institute of Metabolic Disease at Baylor Scott & White Research Institute from January 2008 to June 2019. Educational credentials include a Master of Health Sciences in Clinical Research from Duke University and a medical degree from the University of Liège.
