Jason Hammonds leads overall operations of Texas Oncology, including pharmacy operations, revenue cycle management, cancer center services, payer relations & public policy, business development, and marketing & patient growth.
Mr. Hammonds brings considerable experience in strategic planning and business development, including serving as senior vice president of business development for The US Oncology Network since 2017. In 2016, Jason accepted the role of vice president, strategy for the Network where he focused on practice strategy and precision medicine.
He joined The US Oncology Network in 2008 and has held numerous roles within business development and strategy. Mr. Hammonds played a lead role in the acquisition of California-based Vantage Oncology as well as leading numerous other development activities that added more than 500 physicians to The Network. He also facilitated the development of strategic plans for network affiliated practices.
Mr. Hammonds holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee.
