Jason Shook

COO & CFO at Texas Oncology

Jason Shook is the chief operating and financial officer for Texas Oncology. In this role, he oversees the financial, operational, and administrative needs of the practice. He joined Texas Oncology in 2018 as chief financial officer and is responsible for the financial management of the practice, including financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, accounting, and reporting.

Prior to joining Texas Oncology, Shook was the chief financial officer for The US Oncology Network and Practice Management business within McKesson Corporation. During his tenure with McKesson, he served as vice president of financial planning and analysis for McKesson Specialty Health beginning in 2008. He held a variety of roles at McKesson, beginning in 1999 at McKesson Provider Technologies (MPT) providing financial support to the clinical, imaging and mobile computing segments. While at MPT, he spent six years at the European headquarters in London in various management roles including finance, mergers and acquisitions, and managing director.

Shook received his bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Georgia State University, J. Mack Robinson School of Business in Atlanta, and completed the merger and acquisitions program at Columbia Business School in New York.
