Ai Mukai

Ai Mukai is a highly experienced physiatrist and medical leader with a robust history in non-surgical musculoskeletal care and interventional procedures, currently serving as a Member of the Management Board at TEXAS ORTHOPEDICS SURGERY CENTER, LLC and Texas Orthopedics. Ongoing contributions to professional organizations include roles on the Editorial Board of Spine Universe and as an Editor for the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPM&R). AAPM&R involvement also includes previous leadership as Chair of the Membership Committee and a member of the Board of Governors. Prior training includes a fellowship in pain medicine at UCLA and a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University. Academic background encompasses an M.D. from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and a B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College.
